Overview Quill® PDO Bi-Directional Sutures are used during surgical procedures.

  • Suture the wound using a continuous run pattern then pull both ends of the suture in opposite directions to close the wound
  • Use one backstitich at one end to secure then use the other end to close the sub-Q or dermal layer, using a final backstitich to finish
  • Knotless Tissue Closure: Reduces potential for knot-related complications while reducing the closure time and overall procedure time
  • Barb Technology: Ensures strong coverage along the strand to maximize tissue hold and adequate barb engagement while maintaining tensile strength
