Miltex® Olsen-Hegar Needle Holder with suture scissors.

  • Carb-N-Sert (tungsten carbide type) jaws are made of tungsten carbide bonded to needle holders of the finest quality stainless steel
  • Needle holder patterns are also available with smooth Carb-N-Sert jaws, designed to hold the smallest suture in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures
  • Teeth are precision milled into the tungsten carbide, forming sharp pyramid shapes and providing a positive nonslip surface
  • Serrated
  • Jaws are custom crafted with very fine teeth appropriate to the size of the instrument and the sizes of needles and sutures
  • Jaw edge is chamfered to prevent accidental cutting of suture material
