Create a ground-up practice that serves pets and zoo animals
Ensure the chihuahuas don’t get eaten by the gators

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and the community all get high quality vet care in one building.

Adam and Niesje Langston are a husband-and-wife team who run the Langston Animal Hospital in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Clients waiting with their pets in the lobby at the front of the clinic have no idea that coming through the back door are kangaroos and kookaburras.

The hospital’s treatment and surgical areas are shared for work on both tabbies and tigers, with double doors to accommodate the 500 patients who call the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo home. The doctors’ 5,000 square foot practice is ready to treat all animals with high quality equipment in a spacious clinic – one sketched out on a cocktail napkin with their local Patterson team.
