Loving Touch Animal Clinic in Elkton, Maryland, represents the next chapter for Dr. Stephanie Smalls, who built her first successful practice in Newark, Delaware. Rather than starting from scratch, Dr. Smalls set out to refine her original vision, leveraging her experience and the trusted support of her local Patterson team.

The new facility presented unique design challenges, with a multi-level layout and two prior expansions. Patterson’s complimentary hospital design services helped transform the space into a cohesive, workflow-optimized clinic. Every aspect, from floorplan flow to equipment selection, was guided by efficiency, ergonomics and patient care.

Beyond installation, Dr. Smalls benefited from hands-on imaging training, ongoing support from certified service technicians and long-term strategic planning – all part of Patterson’s full-service approach.
