Everost Dynamic Compression (DCP) Broad Plate is a limited contact self-compression plate that can provide 1.5 mm of compression.

A very small amount of compression can be achieved using a locking plate
Compression screws can change their orientation in a plate under loading so anatomical contouring is essential; the plate is fully compressed against the bone
The locking screws lock into the plate so their orientation cannot change in the plate during loading; perfect contouring isn’t necessary for the use of a locking plate
