Overview The Everost line of veterinary implants are manufactured to all ASTM, ISO and FDA requirements. The materials used in the production of these implants are 316LVM, Ti6Al4V or pure Titanium. All the material meets or exceeds the composition, microstructure, mechanical properties and full metallurgical requirements of the appropriate ASTM standard. Our modern manufacturing methods and facilities contribute to the high quality reputations that Everost enjoys. Our quality system is very well documented and strictly follows all ISO standards. Everost Cortex Screws are uniquely designed to minimize heat produced during insertion, essentially protecting the patient from developing thermal necrosis. Everost Cortex Screws are more than capable of fulfilling expectations. The minimal damage they afflict to surrounding tissue and bone makes them the preferred choice of Cortex Screws by veterinary surgeons.

  • The geometry of the cutting flutes (radius, length and depth) is very important. Here is where you would find variations between a quality screw and poor screw. If the geometry isn’t optimal the screw will not be able to efficiently tap the hole during insertion. This will cause excessive heat and thermal necrosis
  • Everost only offers hex head screws. Some companies offer cruciform and torx head screws; however, Hex historically is the most reliable and universally accepted
  • Everost screws are compatible with leading human grade equipment available in the Veterinary market
